Safe and Effective Use of Air Rifles
This training along with its supporting material have been designed and produced by professional training designers and a qualified BASC air Gun Coach.
The full one day course (9.00 am to 4pm approx) is aimed at people who are just starting in the use of air rifles or those who perhaps have some experience but wish to expand their knowledge and skills in the subject.
The training is particularly suitable for those who wish to use air rifles for pest control.
The course will go from basic information about the types of air rifles and ammunition through to the more complex issues including ballistics, relevant law, shooting technique etc.
Lead by a professional trainer who is experienced in the use of air rifles for pest control and who is a qualified BASC air gun coach, the day combines theoretical classroom input with practical demonstration and use of a variety of air rifles on a shooting range.

All guns and relevant specialist equipment and materials are provided on the course.
The training content can (by prior arrangement) be tailored for specific requirements. Courses are normally held at a field study centre at Haxey near to Doncaster but can be held elsewhere by arrangement.
There are no specific entry requirements for the course but any individual needs or requirements should be discussed prior to booking.
Learners are provided with training notes and supporting information on a CD to take away.
On successful completion learners will also receive an AWM certificate.
