Axholme Wildlife Management (Training) are providers and co-ordinators of training courses primarily in rural skills, specialising in traditional based methods of rural pest control.
All courses are written and managed by experienced trainer who holds adult teaching qualifications and is accredited by LANTRA Awards. Trainers also have a wealth of experience in the subjects taught.
Training courses are designed to get a suitable balance of the necessary theory behind the subjects combined, where possible, with hands on practical experience for the learners.
Courses are normally run at a newly built training facility set in a very rural location near to the village of Haxey in North Lincolnshire near to Doncaster.
By arrangement and where numbers of students are sufficient the training courses can be conducted at suitable locations elsewhere.
During the summer months we also attend various shows and events some times under the banner of Axholme Ferrets providing an educational display of rabbit and mole control methods along with the entertaining spectacle of ferret racing.
